My Interpretation: The only way to continue growing and evolving is to continually exceed your previous accomplishments and that should be your aim each day.
Nutrition Tip: Drink 1 pint of milk immediately following every workout. Post workout milk has been shown to not only speed muscle recovery but to also aid in fat loss. Obviously, it really does a body good.
Coaching Tip: During each workout be sure to use your recovery periods, regardless of duration, to really focus on "recovering" as opposed to merely "relaxing". Concentrate on controlling your breathing, lowering your heart rate, and priming your mind and body for the next working set.
Healthy Habit: Stretch or do Yoga daily. This is to both speed recovery and to maintain a healthy FROM (Functional Range Of Motion). The fluidity of your movements (Agility/Athleticism) are dependant upon good flexibility. If you want to continue moving with strength and grace throughout the remainder of your life then you need to incorporate daily stretching from now on.
