Ultimate Core Concepts

The core musculature is the foundation of all functional strength and power development. A great set of six or eight pack abs will get you more attention than any other area of the body... and with good reason. The strength and efficiency of your core is more influential in determining your level of athleticism and performance than any other part of the body. So if you want to see an immediate improvement in BOTH your physique AND performance you've come to the right place.  PBF's Ultimate Core Concepts holds ALL the keys to get you wherever you want to be.

Our core routines can pack a real PUNCH ... literally. Watch any pro MMA fighter, but especially UFC Welter Weight Champ Georges St. Pierre, throw a flurry of punches and elbows mixed with powerful kicks and THEN execute an explosive takedown or slam. Each of those dynamic movements are mini-explosions of power made possible by an incredibly strong and well-conditioned core. At PBF we place an extra special emphasis on improving core strength and conditioning because we know that it's the foundation upon which everything else must be built upon.

There's no denying the direct correlation between increased core strength and conditioning and improved athletic performance. When your core is properly trained and conditioned it's capable of cleanly and efficiently transferring power throughout the body. Using what's known as the "Serape Effect" we can actually MULTIPLY our power production by targeting cross-body movement patterns. Each of your hips is cross-connected to the opposing shoulder through a band which wraps across and around your entire torso. It's this "Serape Effect" that makes a right-cross knockout punch so explosive and impressively devastating. If you want to harness all of that hidden power then you need to specifically target those deep cris-crossing muscles during your core training sessions. Lucky for you PBF's Ultimate Core Concepts were precisely designed to hit that target.

Our goal at PBF is simply to help you unleash your body's full potential. We believe that Ultimate Core Concepts will create the foundation upon which all of your future successes can be built. Every single one of these routines has been tested and repeatedly proven to be extremely effective. As with ALL of our programs Ultimate Core Concepts is based upon the MIT philosophy. Your personal results will be determined by the level of intensity you choose to maintain. You have to not only "want it" but you have to be willing to work for it... and it all starts here. Train Hard. Train Smart. Make it MIT 4 Life.

*** If you want the results of your hard work to be clearly visible in your physique then you also have to practice good nutritional habits.  Be sure to read PBF's Eat SMART nutritional recommendations.*** Improving core strength & conditioning is the "foundation" to improved performance but you still need to also practice certain sport-specific movement patters in order to make them more efficient. Be sure to spend some time with those patterns each day.
